A World War 2 Trilogy - Useful Links for Writers
A World War 2 Trilogy - By FRED NATH (Novelist and Neurosurgeon)
A Few Useful Links For Writers:

Literary Consultancies (for critiques or edits):

Scribendi - I use these guys a lot!
The Writer's Workshop - Excellent value though price could be less!
Bubblecow - Gary Smailes is a great guy - vetted my submission letter!
Dave King Edits - Dave replies to emails and knows his stuff!
Literary Agent UK - Excellent service, good critiques too.

Books:

Self-editing for Fiction Writers by Dave King and Renni Browne  -Changed my writing for the better, stunning advice.
Solutions for Writers by Sol Stein  -Pragmatic, intelligent and very useful.
How to write a damned Good Novel by James Frey -Say what you like about Frey, he wites even this manual with passion and inspires with every word.

Social Stuff:

Authonomy - Writer's social network. Won't get your writing noticed or published, but will give you an idea of what the competition are up to and what constitutes good openings. The Forum is also excellent. The other authors are really nice people.

Agents/Publishers/Editors

Preditors & Editors The real low-down on who's who in publishing and agenting. Reveals some of the scams and sheisters and believe me there are plenty!
First Writer Excellent site with oodles of advice and lists of agents and publishers.
Everyone whose anyone Kind of quirky site with lists of everyone's email addresses in publishing and the film world. Worth gold when you are looking for a publisher or agent. The site owner's book 'Ginny Good' is pretty impressive too. Pity he offends all those editors and publishers.
